Meet Tim and Anne Giger. The Gigers purchased The Clayhouse in June of 2009 from former owner Christine Baggett.
Tim is currently a Math teacher at Bellalago Academy and works with 6th and 7th graders. His students affectionately refer to him as “the Phil Jackson of Math."
Anne works as a Human Resources Director for Marriott International. Together the Gigers have four beautiful children – Adam, Emily, Will and Lizzie.
You may see them in the studio as The Clayhouse is definitely a family environment.
You can also get a glimpse of life in the Giger House by reading Anne’s blog found at www.MadMommyDiaries.com.
So with all of this going on, what possessed them to buy The Clayhouse? Anne has always had a desire to own her own business.
That desire coupled with a love for arts and crafts made The Clayhouse an attractive business venture.
Emily had been taking art classes at The Clayhouse with local surreal artist Sandra Wise, so the Gigers were at The Clayhouse often.
When the business became available for purchase they thought “since we’re here anyway, why not?”
The Gigers were blessed to inherit an awesome team and have plenty of friends who help out all the time.
They could not pursue this adventure with the support of Donna and David Giger, Mary Downey, Cheryl Tuxberry, and Beth Yousey.
Thank you all for your unending love.
